Hall's Memorandum Book is based on a book sold in the early 1800's by Thorpe and Burch, Jewery Street, Aldgate, London. The book is 6 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches with 64 pages of watercolour paper bound on the horizontal. Ribbon ties hold the book closed and it comes with its own slipcase covered with the same textured paper as the book. The Memorandum book is covered in a textured paper that simulates the original leather. 

A perfect book for drawing and sketching, notes and of course, travel.

The original 1820 book is filled with sketches from a trip around the Scottish coast by the surveyor Mr. Dawson. He was to become well known for his work with the Ordinance Survey in Britain.
